This summer mobility by bus, train and interrail will be cheaper, or almost free, for young people between the ages of 18 and 30.
The Government has approved a discount of up to 90% to travel on these means of transport from which those born between 1993 and 2005 can benefit both in Spain and those born in a European Union country.
To be entitled to this discount, young people must register in advance on the website of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (Mitma).
The discounts will be applied to tickets for state-owned trains, buses and Interrail passes with a travel date between June 15 and September 15, 2023.
To be a beneficiary, the user must register 24 hours in advance before making the first purchase in order to verify that they meet the eligibility requirements.
Below we detail the discounts approved by the Government for young people for the 2023 summer campaign:
The Ministry may proceed to withdraw the Registration Code from beneficiaries who accumulate more than six improper uses detected, either in rail or road transport.
For this, the Ministry will prepare a register with the tickets used improperly, identifying the beneficiary and, once the six uses have been reached, it will be able to notify the offending person via SMS message or email of the withdrawal of the discount code.
Those interested in discount vouchers for transport may register on the Verano Joven website of the Ministry of Transport, proving their identity in one of the following ways:
The discount code is nominal and will be sent to the mobile phone or email. In addition, it is valid for the entire period and all means of transport included.
