Only recently Queen Elizabeth II is said to have embraced her great-granddaughter Lilibet for the very first time. Now the daughter of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan is celebrating her first birthday. The royal relatives also congratulate.

Members of the royal family have congratulated Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s daughter on her first birthday. Little Lilibet, who lives in the US with her family, is currently in England. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have arrived with children Lilibet and Archie to attend Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Although the Queen is said to have already met her great-granddaughter, there are no official snaps. The royals’ birthday wishes also do not contain any pictures. The Queen’s official Twitter account said: “Wishing Lilibet a very Happy 1st Birthday!”

There is an almost identical message on Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla’s account – with an additional cake emoji. And Prince William and Duchess Kate wrote about a balloon: “We wish Lilibet, who turns one today, a happy birthday!”

According to British media reports, the Sussexes are celebrating their daughter’s birthday with a small group at Frogmore Cottage. The family resides at their Windsor estate during their stay in England. In early 2020, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan stepped down as senior royals and moved to the United States with their son Archie. Lilibet was born in California last year. She is said to have met her famous great-grandmother for the first time shortly after her arrival in England.

Meanwhile, the jubilee celebrations continue over the weekend. There is a big concert on the grounds of Buckingham Palace this Saturday. Celebrities and superstars such as Diana Ross, the band Queen with Adam Lambert, Alicia Keys and Duran Duran, among others, are expected to take the BBC stage.
