Usingen/Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) – A 23-year-old man fell off the Eschbach cliffs in the Taunus and sustained serious injuries. He was flown to a hospital in a rescue helicopter. The police assume an accident. It was initially unclear why the 23-year-old was on the rock formation near Usingen, which is popular with hikers and day-trippers, when it was dark on Thursday.

According to the Wiesbaden police headquarters, he was there with six young people, with one of whom he got into an argument for unknown reasons. He got up, lost his balance and fell several meters.
