Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – The deputy chairman of the employers’ association Hessenmetall, Oliver Barta, is moving to the sister association in Baden-Württemberg as general manager. Barta will take over the post at Südwestmetall in early March 2023, as Hessenmetall announced in Frankfurt on Tuesday. “Oliver Barta supported us in a highly professional manner as treasurer, board member and negotiator and brought us forward,” said Hessenmetall CEO Wolf Matthias Mang.

According to the information, Barta has been a member of the Hessenmetall board for more than ten years. In that year, he briefly took over the leadership of negotiations for the M E Mitte working group in collective bargaining for the metal and electrical industry in Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland.
