Bad Hersfeld (dpa / lhe) – After a truck caught fire, Autobahn 7 near Bad Hersfeld was completely blocked in a southerly direction. The truck probably caught fire early Thursday due to a technical defect, police said. The driver was therefore able to steer the semi-trailer truck onto the hard shoulder, whereupon the truck burned out completely. Nobody got hurt. According to the police, the full closure should be lifted on Thursday morning.
