Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – At the beginning of the winter semester, the Frankfurt student union once again launched a campaign asking students to rent accommodation at reasonable prices. Despite the corona pandemic, there was no relaxation on the student housing market, the student union in Frankfurt announced on Friday. Increasing numbers of students have exacerbated the problem and there is not enough affordable housing in the entire Rhine-Main area. The housing campaign of the Studierendenwerk, which claims to support around 76,000 students at six universities, has been in existence since 2009.
