With the arrival of autumn, temperatures began to drop across much of Spain.
In many homes and workplaces, heating is already part of the BSO this time of year. But what is the best temperature for a heated room?
Nowadays, there are fewer and fewer homes with central heating and most have homes with individual heating systems with thermostats and regulators for each room.
The first premise in these cases is to program a stable temperature for all rooms in the home, even if they are not used. Thus, it is recommended that the maximum difference between the interior and exterior be capped at 12 degrees.
Therefore, in the case of heating equipment, the temperature must be regulated between 19 and 21 degrees. Another very different situation results from the temperature at bedtime; experts recommend a room temperature of between 15 and 17 degrees.
Heat pumps from air conditioners are also good allies to combat the heat. However, you have to know how to get the most out of it and also do some practices to gain comfort when enjoying your home.
The ideal temperature for winter with air conditioning equipment is between 20ºC and 22ºC. A higher temperature, in addition to the fact that it will mean a greater expense on the monthly bill, can also cause some health problems such as dry throat or headaches.
Thus, it is also recommended that the air conditioning equipment distribute heat to the ground in winter. Quite the opposite of that in summer when it is recommended to focus it on the ceiling.
Once it’s time to go to sleep, it is recommended to keep the room at temperatures between 15 and 17 degrees.
