The ballots of Jean-Luc Soler (various extreme left) and his substitute Henriette Pecoul will finally be on the tables of the offices of the 2nd constituency of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence for the first round of the legislative elections on Sunday 12 June.

On Friday, June 3, the Marseille administrative court ordered the suspension of the May 30 decision by the propaganda commission. To justify its decision to nullify the ballots, the commission had among other things pointed out that there was “a minimal difference between the name of the holder” and the replacement.

These ballots will be available in local town halls on Thursday due to the impossibility of mailing them in the envelopes that were already sent to voters by mail. “They will be able to withdraw the ballots and dispose of them, if desired, prior to the day of the first round,” the prefecture stated in a press release.
