Light and shadow: Paris Hilton shares two intimate secrets

Paris Hilton has a lot to talk about these days. No wonder: After all, her first child has just been born. Now the 42-year-old gives a glimpse of her son Phoenix for the first time. At the same time, she lets her fans look into an abyss.

Millionaire heiress Paris Hilton has every reason to be happy. She has been a mother since the end of January 2023 and is now sharing her happiness with the whole world. So she only revealed the name of her son Phoenix this week. Now the first complete recordings of the bundle of joy follow.

Hilton posted two photos with the infant on her Instagram page. In the first picture, she holds the droll dozing Phoenix while her husband Carter kisses Milliken Reum affectionately on the forehead. Picture number two shows how she gently kisses her offspring on the small lips.

The child represents “our complete, entire world,” writes the 42-year-old in her post. Until then, the couple had only released a close-up shot of Phoenix’s tiny hand enclosing his mother’s thumb.

Phoenix is ??Hilton’s first child. The boy was born via surrogate earlier this year. “It’s always been my dream to be a mother. I’m so happy that Carter and I found each other,” the 42-year-old told the US magazine “People”. “We are incredibly excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our boy.”

Hilton and Reum have been a couple since 2019. They got married in November 2021. They said yes during a three-day ceremony. After that, the newlywed couple traveled around the world.

While Hilton revels in the happiness of a mother and now makes no secret of the appearance of her child, she reveals a less pleasant episode from her life to her fans elsewhere. In an interview with Glamor magazine, she says she had an abortion in her early twenties.

“I was a child and wasn’t ready for it yet,” she explains, explaining how this decision came about at the time. Out of shame, she didn’t want to talk about the abortion for a long time. Now, however, she wants to use her voice in the abortion debate: “It’s all about politics, but it’s about a woman’s body,” she emphasizes, adding: “Why should there be a law based on that? It It’s your body, your choice – I really believe in that.”

Abortion rights are a hot topic in the US. For decades, abortions were allowed at least until the fetus was viable, about 24 weeks. However, the Supreme Court overturned this decision last year, paving the way for stricter abortion laws – even outright bans.
