Semlow (dpa / mv) – In connection with several break-ins of cigarette machines, the police in Western Pomerania caught two suspects. As a police spokeswoman said on Wednesday, two men were arrested in Semlow (West Pomerania-Rügen) after such a departure. A witness heard suspicious noises during the night, saw two alleged perpetrators at the machine and called the officials. The suspects were able to put these near the machine location. In the Vorpommern-Rügen district and in Rostock, unknown persons have been looting a number of cigarette vending machines since spring. Among other things, locations in Prerow and Born on the Fischland-Darß peninsula and Rostock-Lütten Klein were affected. The damage there was estimated at at least 16,000 euros.
