Paderborn (dpa / lnw) – SC Paderborn has signed defender Marcel Hoffmeier. As the second division soccer team announced on Saturday, the 22-year-old is moving from regional league runners-up Preußen Münster to Ostwestfalen. “Marcel is a young player who can be used very flexibly. He can build up the game from defensive midfield as well as from the defensive network,” commented sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth on Hoffmeier’s commitment shortly before the start of preparations for the new season on Whit Monday.
