Annaberg-Buchholz (dpa/sn) – After the attack on a young person in Annaberg-Buchholz in the Ore Mountains, an arrest warrant was issued against a suspect. The 32-year-old is now in custody, a police spokesman informed on Sunday on request. Residents had discovered the young people on Friday evening with stab wounds in the hallway of an apartment building. The 15-year-old was then flown to a hospital in a rescue helicopter and had emergency surgery there.

A 32-year-old suspect was arrested on Saturday morning. According to previous investigations, the young person had met the man in the house. The tenant is strongly suspected of having attacked the 15-year-old and then fled. A relationship act is conceivable, it said. The victim and suspect knew each other, but are not related.
