Magdeburg (dpa/sa) – The German weather service expects a “October summer” hotspot for the border triangle of Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony and Thuringia on Monday. The DWD announced on Sunday that exceptionally warm maximum values were expected again. Record values could be reached regionally. The air is expected to warm up to a very mild 22 to 26 degrees, in the Harz to 19 to 22 degrees. There will be a weak to moderate south to south-west wind. Gusts of wind must be expected on the Brocken.
On Tuesday night it was cloudy to overcast, and there was occasional rain from the north-west. On Tuesday the clouds will loosen up from the north. The maximum values are then 17 to 19 degrees, in the Harz Mountains 13 to 16 degrees.
