Dresden (dpa / sn) – The city of Dresden has expanded the winter service in the cycling network for the coming season. This is according to a press release from the city on Tuesday. According to this, around 175,000 square meters of cycle paths will be maintained by winter services in the 2022/23 season, which is an increase of 25,000 compared to the previous year.
According to the information, lanes and cycle paths should be cleared with equal priority in order to open up central traffic routes. A total of around 720 kilometers of the road network and 392,000 square meters of sidewalks, stairs and other areas are managed. Several million euros are available for this winter season and 42 emergency vehicles are ready.
