Leipzig (dpa/sn) – The start-up support program “Spinlab – The HHL Accelerator” in Leipzig has managed 118 projects in recent years. The HHL business school announced on Wednesday that the startups had created more than 1,000 new jobs. The founders would have collected more than 150 million euros in venture capital. Ten startups have been bought by international corporations.

Ten teams will be supervised in the new year. Their business ideas range from software solutions for the energy transition to an AI-based digital health coach for older people. The ten startups were selected from around 400 applications from Germany and abroad. They will be supported by coaches and mentors as part of the program to drive their idea forward.
