Podemos has assured this Wednesday that it will expel the three councilors who have obtained training in the La Guardia City Council (Toledo) if they sign a government pact with the PP.

Sources from the purple formation have assured Efe that “at the moment, there is nothing signed” in La Guardia to give the mayor’s office to the popular, but they have stressed that the party has transferred the three mayors elected by United Podemos-IU that ” You cannot agree with the PP”.

For this reason, these sources have argued that “any option that involves agreeing with the PP will make the party have to remove the councilors from Podemos”, that is, it will expel them if they sign a government agreement.

In the municipal elections of May 28, the PSOE was the list with the most votes in La Guardia (Toledo) and obtained four councilors, the same as the PP, and United Podemos-IU had three councilors, while after the 2019 elections , the Socialists had seven councilors, and the PP, four, so the PSOE ruled with an absolute majority.
