The arrival of an Atlantic front this Friday will bring cloudy skies and generally weak rainfall during the second half of the day, especially in the northwestern third, but also in other parts of the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands and even the Canary Islands, according to forecasts from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

The maximum temperatures will rise in the eastern Cantabrian, upper Ebro and southeastern peninsular coasts but will drop in the northern half of the Mediterranean coast and in the entire western peninsular half, while the minimum temperatures will rise in the southeastern half of the peninsula and the Balearic Islands and will remain unchanged on rest.

Weak frosts in the Pyrenees and winds from the west or southwest on the peninsular Atlantic slope and on the peninsular southeast coast, with moderate Levante in the Strait and from the south and southeast in the Balearic Islands and the peninsular northeast.

In the rest of Spain it will blow variable light, without ruling out some interval of strong wind at the end of the day in the eastern Cantabrian.
