The dogs of the Military Emergency Unit (UME) of the Civil Guard found the body of a woman this Saturday, 50 meters from the Vallehermoso stream, at the height of the area known as Valdeoro, in Valmojado (Toledo), while they were carrying out work search for a 54-year-old woman missing last Sunday after her car was swept away by heavy rain during last weekend’s DANA.

This morning, a body was also found near the San Juan reservoir in the Alberche River, around San Martín de Valdeiglesias. This is a middle-aged man who could have been dead for several days and the main hypothesis that the Civil Guard was pointing to is that he died during the storm caused by the passage of the DANA near San Martín de Valdeiglesias. However, they have subsequently identified him as a resident of Fuenlabrada who disappeared before DANA, reports the Government Delegation.

This has been confirmed by Civil Guard sources to Europa Press, who have indicated that the discovery occurred around 11:00 am. The woman’s body, pending identification, was found between two vineyards, hidden among weeds and mud.

Some 150 members of the Military Emergency Unit (UME) had joined the search operation for the missing woman in Valmojado (Toledo) since 7:30 a.m. this Saturday, after her car, a Seat Altea, was dragged by the storm caused by DANA last weekend, when it was traveling on the CM-4004 as it passed through Valmojado, being found on Monday at kilometer 1,800 of the aforementioned highway.

The UME has joined this Saturday in the search efforts, in which the Citizen Security Unit of the Toledo Command, the Group of Underwater Activities Specialists (GEAS), the mountain service, have been participating throughout the week. a rescue dog for missing people and another in search of corpses, Citizen Security patrols, Infocam patrols, Civil Protection of Valmojado, Mora and Portillo de Toledo, and Toledo Local Police with a drone.

The same sources have detailed that, while waiting for the coroner and the judge at the scene of the discovery, the identification of the body is scheduled to take place this Sunday.
