This Tuesday the National Team will publish the new list of players called up for the Women’s Nations League.
It will be coach Montse Tomé’s third official call-up for the next two official matches that the current world champions will play.
The Spanish team, current leader of group D, will seek in the next matches to add two new victories that will allow it to secure a place for the next one at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. However, with a victory they could also achieve their goal by drawing of Sweden with Italy.
After Spain’s victories against Italy (0-1) and Switzerland (1-7) last October, Montse Tomé’s team will play the return matches against Italy at the Pasarón stadium in Pontevedra on next 1 December and against Sweden in La Rosaleda de Málaga on December 5
The official announcement will be published by the Royal Spanish Federation through its social networks this Tuesday at 3:00 p.m., while a press conference by the coach with the media will take place starting at 4:00 p.m.
So far Spain adds to its performances in the Women’s Nations League with victories.
To qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics, Spain must compete in the final of the Women’s Nations League. However, if the Spanish National Team does not reach the last round, a somewhat remote situation today, it could also be worth finishing third as long as France reaches the final. The galas as hosts of the Olympic event have already secured their place.
Montse Tomé’s official call for the next Women’s Nations League matches will be announced this Tuesday, November 21, at 4:00 p.m., through social networks.
