The Copa del Rey 2023/2024 celebrates its second round starting this Tuesday with a large number of regional teams in each match against several First Division of the LaLiga EA Sports.
In the last phase of the Copa del Rey, Granada was eliminated against Arosa due to improper alignment.
In total, sixteen modest teams will face each other from LaLiga EA Sports, although the participants in the Super Cup are also exempt from playing in this second round: Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid and Osasuna.
These four First Division teams are already classified for the round of 32 of the cup trophy that will be played in January 2024.
This situation is due to the teams’ agreement with the RFEF that they can play a maximum of 46 games per season.
On the other hand, Zamora and Villarreal were played on November 22 with a victory for the Castellón team (1-2).
