Four new celebrities disembark this Friday, September 29, on the set of Pasapalabra to contribute their grain of sand to the successful Antena 3 contest during the next three programs. Their job is to help the contestants, adding seconds to their boxes for the final test of El Rosco, where the jackpot already exceeds 900,000 euros. However, no one doubts that the presence of well-known faces, willing to exude knowledge and good humor in equal measure, is another incentive to retain the audience. In this sense, someone like Eva González is trading upwards. Let’s get to know this guest a little better.

Eva González was born in Mairena del Alcor, Seville, November 5, 1980. Her naturalness, her friendliness and her knowledge of being in front of the cameras have made her one of the most popular television presenters of the last two decades.

Her idea when entering a university was to leave it as a social worker, but everything changed when she tried her luck at a modeling agency. “Fashion was something temporary, a hobby to earn a few bucks and be able to pay for my whims,” the Sevillian recalled in an interview with EL MUNDO.

After doing some work as a mannequin, Eva González entered Miss Spain 2003 and swept the competition: she won the crown and the Miss Congeniality and Miss Elegance awards. From one day to the next, she became a well-known person and began working in television. And the truth is that, since then, she has maintained a constant and front-row professional career.

At the same time that she became the image of several brands and walked the catwalks, González entered the small screen. She made her television debut in 2004 as a collaborator on UHF, a program presented by Nuria Roca and Florentino Fernández on Antena 3.

In that first stage she also made her first steps as an actress with sporadic roles in legendary series such as 7 Lives (2004) and Los Serranos (2006). In this facet, her most relevant performance was the 17 episodes of the series La tira in which she appeared as her character.

However, her career shines and expands as a presenter. In 2006, she was recruited by La Sexta to present the comedy contest Dímelo alhear and a year later she collaborated on Andreu Buenafuente’s program. She then made appearances on programs such as Flo’s Club or Supervivientes 2010, where she hosted the daily summaries and weekly galas from the Nicaraguan island.

Since 2013, Eva González has presented the successful MasterChef on the public channel, both the original edition and the MasterChef Junior and MasterChef Celebrity versions. Although her position was more than consolidated, in 2019 she decided to leave everything to go to Antena 3 to present La Voz, a program that she continues to present today with audience success.
