Sömmerda (dpa/th) – Two siblings avoided a car and fell while riding a motorcycle in the Sömmerda district – the driver fled. The car met the 17-year-old motorcyclist and his 14-year-old sister in a double curve on Saturday, the police said on Sunday. Because the car was partially driving in the lane of the two young people, the motorcycle drove to the right to prevent a collision.
It ended up on the hard shoulder between Gebesee and Schwerstedt. The teenagers suffered leg injuries in the fall and were taken to hospital. The driver continued in the direction of Gebesee – without stopping. The Sömmerda police are looking for witnesses for information.
