Erfurt (dpa/th) – As of today, a 45-year-old has to answer to the Erfurt district court for the alleged attempt to kill his mother. The public prosecutor accuses him of attempted manslaughter. According to this, at the beginning of January this year, he is said to have choked his mother several times in her house in Friedrichroda after a dispute and threatened to kill her.
According to the indictment, the woman then fled onto the street. Her son followed her and choked her again. Only when a passing car came did he let go of his mother. According to the court, the woman suffered bruises on her neck.
