AWH Partners, a New York City-based company, has acquired a 212-key hotel in Broomfield, Colorado for $29 million. The hotel will be managed by Dallas-based Spire Hospitality, which is a subsidiary of AWH Partners.
Sunstone Hotel Investors, based in Aliso Viejo, California, reported negative results for the third quarter. The Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) growth was -1.3% and the hotel EBITDA was $57 million, down -2.8% year-over-year. Analysts are concerned about Sunstone’s results and updated outlook, as they fell short of expectations.
NexGen Hotels, headquartered in Itasca, Illinois, has acquired The Maritime Hotel Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruiseport in Florida. The boutique hotel will undergo renovation and rebranding as the Moor Hotel at Marina Bay, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, by the third quarter of 2025.
