HCLTech has recently revealed plans to establish an AI/Cloud Native Lab in Singapore in collaboration with the Singaporean government. This initiative, set to launch next year, is the company’s fifth lab globally, with existing labs in the U.S., UK, Germany, and India.

The primary goal of the Singapore-based lab is to support local businesses in their AI endeavors. Additionally, HCLTech will be working closely with Nanyang Polytechnic and Singapore Polytechnic to nurture talent in the field. The announcement was made by HCLTech Chairperson Roshni Nadar Malhotra, alongside representatives from the Ministry of Digital Development and Information of Singapore and the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB).

Vijay Guntur, Chief Technology Officer and Head of Ecosystems at HCLTech, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, stating that the Labs serve as a valuable starting point for enterprises looking to enhance their AI capabilities.
