Nando’s, a popular fast-food chicken outlet, is making exciting changes to its menu and overall look as part of a new growth strategy. The company plans to open seven new restaurants within the next year, with the first one being a unique dining space in Richmond, Melbourne, overlooking the Yarra River. This two-level restaurant features an open space plan, booths, and elegant interiors to enhance the dining experience.

According to Nando’s head of brand and communications, Tom Blackburn, the goal is to become Australia’s favorite dining destination by refining the menu, investing in restaurant design, and increasing the number of locations and staff. In the next three years, Nando’s aims to open an additional 25 restaurants in Australia and New Zealand, creating job opportunities for 1000 people. By 2030, the company plans to have a total of 70 new restaurants.

Known for its Portuguese flame-grilled peri peri chicken dishes, Nando’s will be refreshing its music, design, food, and beverage offerings to attract more customers. To celebrate the opening of the new restaurant in Richmond, Nando’s is offering free chicken and chips meals to everyone from 11 am to 8 pm on Tuesday. This initiative aims to showcase the brand’s new headquarters and dining experience to food lovers and locals in the area.

Currently, there are 136 Nando’s restaurants spread across Australia, and the company is determined to expand its presence in the region. The focus on creating a unique dining atmosphere and offering delicious Portuguese chicken meals is expected to drive customer interest and loyalty. With the new growth strategy in place, Nando’s is set to become a go-to destination for those looking for a flavorful and enjoyable dining experience.
