Rafa Castaño and Orestes Barbero continue to compete for the Rosco de Pasapalabra. The Antena 3 program jackpot already accumulates more than 2 million euros.

In this daily appointment from Monday to Friday, the contestants of the Roberto Leal program will have the help of four new guests: Llum Barrera, Virginia Rodríguez, Juli Fábregas and Juanra Bonet.

Virginia Rodríguez was part of that cast of young actors who achieved fame at the end of the 90s thanks to Compañeros, the series produced by Atresmedia and Globomedia that swept the nine seasons broadcast between 1998 and 2002.

Rodríguez played Isabel Arbueso, the troubled young woman who had to mature as she encountered the ups and downs of life (her mother’s abandonment, accident, pregnancy…) and who ended up earning the love and respect of her peers. The role of the character was created for a single chapter, but Isabel ended up being part of the hard core of Compañeros.

However, for the woman from Madrid, who is about to turn 43, the successful series for teenagers was not her first contact with show business. Because Rodríguez is a member of the Aragón family, the saga of Spanish circus artists, and he went on stage for the first time when he was only seven years old. He did it together with his grandfather Miliki and his aunt Rita Irasema in the play The Pied Piper of Hamelin. From then on, Emilio Aragón’s niece joined other projects of her grandfather as a dancer.

His film debut also came from the hand of Compañeros, since in 2001 the film I will not fail you was released, the big screen adaptation of the continuation of the series once the characters have finished high school. Without leaving the theaters, her role as the protagonist in the film Esto no es un appointment deserves a special mention, with an interpretation that earned her the silver biznaga for Best Actress at the Malaga Festival in 2013.

Shortly after the end of Compañeros, Virginia Rodríguez received roles in other series such as Tres son multitude (2003) and SMS, Sin Miedo a Soñar (2006 and 2007) and had appearances in different episodes of Hospital Central, El Príncipe or Al filo de la law. She also got back on the stage with works like the comedy Richi is coming! (2008).

Beyond her career as an actress, Rodríguez launched the project El secreto de Madrid in 2017 with director Guillermo Fernández Groizard. It is a mix between the Escape Room and the theater, where players must solve enigmas walking the streets of the center of Madrid.

Virginia Fernández also participated in 2022 in the Spanish production Machos Alfa for Netflix.
