The IHPT actuators are available in four different sizes, offering force outputs ranging from 25N to 120N, and they operate at 12V. These devices feature a compact, two-piece design with mounting holes for easy installation and application of force. With a fast response time of 5ms and high mechanical force, they can produce high-definition haptic effects at operating voltages between 8V and 16V. The IHPT series is constructed with a rigid copper and iron core for high reliability in harsh environments, with the ability to operate at temperatures up to +105°C.
One of the key advantages of the IHPT series is its low nominal 12V operation, eliminating the need for additional high-voltage circuitry required by other technologies. This not only reduces costs but also simplifies the implementation process.
