2024 South Florida ORBIE Awards Winners Honored by SouthFloridaCIO

South Florida technology executives from top organizations recognized for their exceptional achievements were recently announced as winners of the 2024 ORBIE® Awards by SouthFloridaCIO. The awards ceremony took place at The Diplomat Resort, celebrating excellence in leadership within the tech industry.

Among the distinguished winners were Jacky Wright from McKinsey & Company, Rocky Wiggins from Spirit Airlines, Sam Jaddi from ADT, Jack O’Hara from Chenmed, Tamecka McKay from the City of Fort Lauderdale, and Raimundo Rodulfo from the City of Coral Gables. Each executive was recognized in various categories such as Global, Large Enterprise, Enterprise, Large Corporate, Corporate, and Leadership.

The ORBIE Awards, established in 1998, have become a prestigious recognition program for technology executives in the United States. Over 500 leaders have been honored with the ORBIE Award, showcasing their excellence in technology leadership. Winners are selected through a rigorous peer review process, evaluating criteria such as leadership effectiveness, business value through innovation, and community engagement.

The event featured a keynote address by Jacky Wright, followed by an insightful interview conducted by Ann Dozier from Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits. The ceremony was attended by over 300 guests representing prominent organizations in South Florida and their technology partners.
