'Pretty Little Liars' star keeps referring to Chicago as 'Bean Town'

"Pretty Little Liars" star Shay Mitchell said she will only be in Chicago for 30 hours, yet she has already coined a new nickname for the city.

Mitchell, 29, keeps referring to Chicago as "Bean Town" on her social media because of the Cloud Gate sculpture in Millennium Park. Nevermind that "Beantown" is a well-known nickname for Boston.

The Canadian actress is in Chicago because she is hosting WE Day Wednesday at Allstate Arena in Rosemont. The event, which is expected to draw more than 15,000 Illinois students and educators to celebrate youth community service, is also slated to feature performances by Chicago rapper Rhymefest and singer-songwriter Andra Day and appearances by former astronaut Buzz Aldrin and "Chicago P.D." star LaRoyce Hawkins, among others.

Mitchell solicited Chicago food recommendations from her Instagram and Twitter followers. No word if she will try our famous chowder.
