Mark Stacey, an expert on the BBC show Bargain Hunt, was not pleased with the outcome of one item that the Blue team had brought to auction. The team, consisting of friends Bridget and Izzy, had some success with a night light they bought for £20, which sold for £30. However, their other items did not attract much attention from bidders.

In an attempt to turn things around, Mark presented a vintage Schuco toy car that he purchased for £85. The auctioneer, Colin Young, had high hopes for the item, citing its historical significance as Jim Clark’s world championship winning car for Lotus. Despite this, the toy car only sold for £40, resulting in a loss of £45 for the team.

Mark was visibly upset by the low selling price, expressing his disappointment to the team. Bridget and Izzy were disheartened by the outcome, as their total loss for the episode amounted to £110. On the bright side, they were not the only ones facing a loss, as the red team also did not make a profit.

Ultimately, the red team had a total loss of £51, making them the winning team with the least loss compared to the Blue team’s total loss of £110. Despite the disappointing outcome, Mark and the team took the defeat in good spirits, with Eric Knowles offering words of encouragement.
