A few weeks back, Crowded House dropped their latest album called Gravity Stairs. They made an appearance on late-night TV to perform the song “Teenage Summer.” Just recently, they took the stage on CBS’ Saturday Sessions to perform “The Howl,” “Weather With You,” and their hit from 1991.
But that’s not all. During a show at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London, Crowded House surprised fans by inviting Mick Fleetwood, the cofounder of Fleetwood Mac, to join them on stage. Together, they played “World Where You Live,” “Weather With You,” and the Split Enz classic “I Got You.” Neil Finn, the frontman of Crowded House, had previously joined Fleetwood Mac back in 2018.
In an interview, Neil Finn shared his thoughts on the experience of being part of Fleetwood Mac. He mentioned how different it was not being the main focus on stage and how it made him appreciate his own band even more. He talked about the value of being in a band and how each individual contributes to creating something beautiful together.
If you missed their performance on Saturday Sessions, you can check it out online along with a clip from their show in London. It’s always great to see talented musicians come together and create magic on stage.
