Elden Ring, the popular game developed by Bandai Namco and FromSoftware, is getting a new comedy manga featuring the game’s NPCs. The manga, titled ELDEN RING Tōki Hazama no Monogatari (ELDEN RING Distant Stories from The Lands Between), will be launched on July 4 on Kadokawa’s Comic Hu manga website. The heartwarming comedy manga will showcase “what if” scenarios that could have taken place in the game’s world, focusing on the non-player characters. The first story will follow a broken-hearted girl named Roderika.

This new manga follows the success of Nikiichi Tobita’s Elden Ring: The Road to the Erdtree, which has been serialized on Kadokawa’s free manga website ComicWalker since September 2022. The manga has been published in 11 languages and has gained popularity among fans worldwide. The sixth compiled volume of the manga is set to be released in Japan on July 4. Yen Press handles the physical English publication of the manga.

Elden Ring, launched in February 2022, quickly became a bestseller, surpassing 12 million units in sales globally by March 2022. The game’s latest DLC expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, is scheduled for release on June 21 for various platforms. The game, created in collaboration between Hidetaka Miyazaki and George R.R.
