Few national television programs can boast of turning 15 years old. That is what Javier Coronas, Javier Cansado and Pepe Colubi are celebrating tonight at Ilustresignontes with a special program in which they will feature Andreu Buenafuente and Berto Romero as guests and where, in addition, 15 historical guests – including Ana Morgade, Borja Cobeaga or El Gran Wyoming – will remember the funniest moments of the program, which already has 17 seasons behind it.
The format was born monthly on the now defunct Channel, but its illustrious comedians have managed to survive changes of channel, names and bosses in the company. «When we started we didn’t even think there would be a second season. They contracted us for three programs,” Coronas recalls, “there is no way I would have imagined that we would be 15 years old, ever.”
«Here you don’t read, here you talk. “People don’t understand what’s happening,” explains Cansado on the basis of his success: improvisation. «A surprising flow of affection and good vibes is created. Anyone can see it. Illustrious is part of the heritage of many people. Colubi adds: «It is not read and there is no rehearsal, which is another key to ensuring that there is no erosion, but rather naturalness and spontaneity. Duration is also important. They tell us: ‘I’m left wanting more.’ That’s the idea”.
