Nadine Coyle, a member of the popular group Girls Aloud, had an embarrassing mishap during a recent performance at the O2 Arena in London. The band, consisting of Nadine, Cheryl Tweedy, Nicola Roberts, and Kimberley Walsh, are currently on their reunion tour, paying tribute to their late bandmate Sarah Harding.
During their performance of the song “The Promise,” Nadine was caught off guard when pink confetti was fired across the arena. In a video shared on social media, she could be seen trying to cover her mouth after inhaling some of the confetti and appearing to choke. Despite this, she quickly regained her composure and continued with the performance.
This was not the first time Nadine had a confetti mishap. In a previous concert, she was surprised by multicolored confetti during the song “Jump,” leading to a similar moment of choking. Despite the embarrassing incident, Nadine managed to make light of the situation by joking about it with the audience.
The band has been performing their biggest hits for fans as they celebrate their 20th anniversary since forming on ITV’s Popstars: The Rivals. They have been honoring Sarah Harding’s memory throughout the tour, with a special video tribute and performances of songs that showcase her voice.
Following Sarah’s tragic passing due to breast cancer, Girls Aloud have become advocates for breast cancer research and support. They have raised funds for The Sarah Harding Breast Cancer Appeal and continue to keep her memory alive through their performances.
