UPDATE: $435.3 million jackpot won in Indiana; $2M ticket sold in N.J.

The winning Powerball numbers in Wednesday’s drawing are 10, 13, 28, 52 and 61. The Powerball chose was 2.

The $403 million jackpot offers a cash option of $243.9 million. It’s the 14th biggest prize offered in U.S. lottery history.

The drawing at will be held at 10:59 p.m. in Tallahassee, Fla. and air on WABC-7 in the New York City area and WPVI-6 closer to Philadelphia.

No one has hit the jackpot in more than two months. On Dec. 17, a Pennsylvania couple who bought a ticket in Delaware won a $121.6 million drawing. They chose to remain anonymous, as Delaware is one of six states which doesn’t require lottery winners to be publicly identified.

That’s 18 straight drawings without anyone winning the jackpot offered by the ?majbet twice-weekly, multi-state game.

A ticket sold at a Wrightstown liquor store was one of nine sold across the country to match five numbers for Saturday’s drawing. It’s worth $1 million.

There were also four $50,000 tickets sold in New Jersey, which matched four numbers plus the Powerball. 

Those tickets for Saturday’s drawing were sold at the following locations:

  • Quick Food & Tobacco on Cinnaminson Avenue in Cinnaminson
  • ACME on Haddonfield Berlin Road in Voorhees
  • BJ’s Wholesale Club on Route 23 in Riverdale
  • Wine World on Route 88 in Brick

Last year ended with seven Powerball jackpots being won, down from 12 in 2015. 

The odds of a $2 ticket hitting the jackpot are 292,201,338 to 1. A players who buys a $2 ticket has approximately a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers but not the Powerball.

Powerball is played in 44 states, Washington, D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
