Take That Concert in Bristol: Road Closures and Timetable Revealed
As Take That gears up for their highly anticipated concerts in Bristol this weekend, fans are advised to take note of important information regarding road closures and event timetable.
The iconic 90s boy band, known for their chart-topping hits like Never Forget and Shine, will be performing at Ashton Gate Stadium on Saturday and Sunday as part of their This Life On Tour.
Stadium officials have announced that several roads, including Ashton Road, Winterstoke Road, Barons Close, and Wedlock Way, will be closed to accommodate the influx of concert-goers. Parking will not be available at the stadium, but a shuttle bus service will be in operation to transport fans to and from the venue.
The last time Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, and Mark Owen graced the stage in Bristol was back in 2019 during the Ashton Gate’s Summer Series. Ashton Road is set to close from 15:00 BST on Saturday, with the ticket office and fan village opening at the same time.
Gates to the stadium will open at 17:00, with support act Olly Murs scheduled to perform at 19:15. Winterstoke Road, Barons Close, and Wedlock Way will be closed between 21:00 and midnight on both concert days.
Fans attending the concerts are advised to enter the stadium through Gates 1, 2 & 3, where bag searches will be conducted. It is important to note that outside food and drinks are prohibited, except for those required for “medicinal purposes”.
