RTVE has modified the afternoon programming for La 1. On Wednesday, September 27, it arrives on the La Plaza network, but, in addition, the channel has had to modify the broadcast schedules for its fiction series.

The company has decided that La Moderna will be broadcast before La Promesa. In this way, La Moderna will be offered starting Thursday, September 28, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., the schedule that until now was occupied by La Promesa, which will move to the 5:30 p.m. . Both productions can be seen from Monday to Friday.

With this new schedule, La Moderna will compete against part of Amar es para siempre and Pecado original on Antena 3, the end of Así es la vida and the beginning of TardeAR on Telecinco, Zapeando on La Sexta and Everything is a lie on Cuatro. For its part, La Promesa will face Y Ahora Sonsoles on Antena 3 and TardeAR on Telecinco. In addition, La Plaza, a new current affairs program presented by Jordi González, will start at 6:30 p.m., followed by El Cazador at 7:30 p.m. and Aqui la Tierra at 8:30 p.m.

Before making the jump to the afternoons, La Moderna will premiere on Wednesday, September 27 at 10:40 p.m. on La 1, La 2, Clan and RTVE Play. “The protagonist of La Moderna is a girl who becomes a woman at the age of 14, who struggles to raise her entire family after the loss of her father and who has to leave Íñigo, her first love, until eight years later “They meet again by chance in La Moderna. Will there be room for love in Matilde’s complicated and sacrificial life? Will they have a second chance?” reads the official synopsis.

Helena Ezquerro, Almagro San Miguel, Stéphanie Magnin, José Luis García-Pérez and Miryam Gallego, among others, make up the cast of the production. The fiction is based on the novel Tea Rooms: Mujeres obreras by Luisa Carnés, which tells the story of several employees of a distinguished tea room near Puerta del Sol in Madrid in 1930.
