A protracted dispute over a large order for 120,000 assault rifles is nearing its end. The Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court announced that it intends to announce a decision on June 22. In the lawsuit, arms manufacturer C.G. Haenel against the decision of the Federal Armed Forces Procurement Office to exclude the Thuringian company from the procurement procedure because of patent infringement.
