Prince Charles (73) and Duchess Camilla (75) presented themselves from their best side on Wednesday (July 27). In sunny weather, the two visited the Sandringham Flower Show in Norfolk, as numerous photos show. It’s the first time since 2019 that the royal couple have appeared at the flower exhibition. In 2020 and 2021 the event was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Charles and Camilla drove up in a carriage, the Daily Mail reports.
Matching the occasion, Duchess Camilla dressed in a knee-length, airy, blue-green shirt dress with a floral pattern. She paired it with light brown flat-heeled pumps and dark sunglasses. Prince Charles had also dressed up: the heir to the British throne opted for a light beige suit with a striped tie in blue, red and cream. He wore a beige hat and dark sunglasses as accessories.
In photos, the couple can be seen laughing and joking with royal fans at ease. As dog lovers, they were obviously particularly happy about a Jack Russell Terrier, which they gave a little cuddle. In addition to lots of flowers, Charles and Camilla also visited stalls with vegetables and handicrafts.
