Director Hidetaka Miyazaki has mentioned that some of these bosses are designed to really push players to their limits, and having completed the DLC, we can confirm that this is the case. Romina, Saint of the Bud, is a boss that, despite appearing later in the game, does not pose a significant challenge. Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame, is similar to Rellana but with chaotic and frenzied attack patterns that require precise dodging.
The Putrescent Knight, reminiscent of Bloodborne bosses, is relentless in its attacks and can split into two enemies, adding to the challenge. Commander Gaius charges into battle with a mighty boar and gravity magic, requiring players to have perfect timing to survive. Messmer the Impaler boasts a tough two-part fight with fast attacks and a giant snake companion, making the battle intense.
Finally, Promised Consort Radahn, the “Final Boss” of the DLC, is described as relentless and difficult to defeat. With fast and hard-hitting attacks in the first phase and the addition of holy attacks in the second phase, Radahn pushes players to their limits with frame-perfect movement required to survive.
