Dr. Janil Puthucheary, Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of Digital Development and Information, emphasized the importance of innovation in building Singapore’s cybersecurity workforce during the opening ceremony. The TIG Centre will work closely with CSA to drive CyberSG Talent initiatives, including the Youth Cyber Exploration Programme (YCEP) and the development of a national professional framework for cybersecurity professionals.

Furthermore, collaborations with organizations like SGInnovate and programs like CyberBoost Catalyse will support cybersecurity companies in their growth stages. These initiatives aim to strengthen Singapore’s cybersecurity ecosystem and solidify its position as a cybersecurity hub in the region.

By investing in cybersecurity initiatives and partnerships, Singapore is demonstrating its commitment to developing a robust cybersecurity workforce and fostering innovation in the industry. The CyberSG TIG Collaboration Centre plays a vital role in supporting the growth of cybersecurity companies and ensuring the country’s cybersecurity resilience in the face of evolving threats.
