A pot of support for the family of the policeman who shot the young Nahel last week in Nanterre collected more than a million euros on Monday, four days after its launch.
At 2:00 p.m., this kitty launched on the online platform Gofundme totaled around 50,600 donations, for a total value of 1.002 million euros.

The police officer who killed Nahel, 17, during a traffic stop was indicted on Thursday for intentional homicide and remanded in custody. The death of the teenager caused several nights of riots but a decline has been observed since Saturday evening.
The creation and success of this kitty provoked the indignation of the political class on the left, the LFI deputy for Val-de-Marne Clémence Guetté denouncing on Twitter an “absolute indecency and horror”.
“Nearly a million euros collected at the initiative of a far-right polemicist in support of a policeman who kills a teenager. The message? It pays to kill a young Arab”, for his part reacted MEP Manon Aubry, asking for its deletion.
Questioned by AFP, a spokesperson for Gofundme assured that the kitty was “in accordance” with its rules because the funds “will be paid directly to the family in question. The family has been added as a beneficiary and therefore the funds will be given to them. paid directly”.
A second pot of support for the policeman’s family, launched on Leetchi by a policeman on behalf of the Amicale motocycliste des Hauts-de-Seine, accumulated nearly 60,000 euros.
A pot of support for Nahel’s family was created on Leetchi and reached Monday at 2:00 p.m. just under 200,000 euros.
