Symphonic metal legends NIGHTWISH have unveiled their latest single “The Day Of…” from their upcoming album “Yesterwynde”, set to be released on September 20, 2024 through Nuclear Blast. This album will be their tenth studio LP, following the release of “Human. :II: Nature.” in 2020.
Tuomas Holopainen, the keyboardist and main songwriter for NIGHTWISH, shared with Kerrang! magazine details about the first single “Perfume Of The Timeless” from “Yesterwynde”. He mentioned that the band’s long legacy allows them the freedom to create music as they wish, highlighting the unique structure of the song and how it defies typical conventions.
