An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale was felt in several departments located in western France, according to the French Central Seismological Bureau. The epicenter would be located in Mauzé-sur-le-Mignon (Deux-Sèvres), according to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMCS). The tremor was felt and shared by many netizens on social media. Authorities haven’t reported any serious damage so far, but some residents were scared.
