The French are not done with summer. Météo-France announces for Saturday September 9 the continuation of the episode of intense heat, particularly in the Center and Île-de-France, where fourteen departments are kept on orange heat wave vigilance. Will be concerned, in addition to the Center and Île-de-France, the departments of Indre, Indre-et-Loire, Cher, Loir-et-Cher, Loiret, Eure-et-Loir, Seine-et- Marne, Paris, Val-de-Marne, Yvelines, Essonne and Val-d’Oise.

The climatic conditions therefore hardly change. Throughout the country, sunny and warm weather will persist, even in the western half where the sky will sometimes be cloudy.

However, over Brittany from the morning, then the Basque Country in the afternoon, the clouds will be a little more threatening and sometimes accompanied by a few showers. At the end of the day these showers could at times become stormy. On the plains of Roussillon and Aude, a small change in the weather will also begin with the arrival of maritime inlets and a slightly less generous sun. The autan wind will remain sensitive on the heights of the Tarn and on the Lauragais.

Minimum temperatures will range between 13 and 20°C in general. Highs will again be very high for the season, anywhere between 30 and 35°C. They will sometimes even reach 36°C in the orange vigilance zone, the north of Auvergne and as far as Landes, and locally 37°C in the Center.
