The 2024 MotoGP World Championship standings have been updated following the Dutch Grand Prix race at Assen, which took place on Sunday. The race saw Marc Marquez receive a 16-second post-race time penalty for having low tire pressure, causing him to drop from 4th to 10th place in the Dutch Grand Prix.

As it stands, Jorge Martin from Spain, riding for Pramac Ducati (GP24), is leading the championship with 200 points. He is followed closely by Francesco Bagnaia from Italy, who rides for Ducati Lenovo (GP24) and has 190 points, trailing Martin by 10 points.

Marc Marquez, despite his penalty, is still holding onto the third position in the championship standings with 142 points. Enea Bastianini from Italy, riding for Ducati Lenovo (GP24), is in fourth place with 136 points. Maverick Viñales from Spain, representing Aprilia Racing (RS-GP24), is in fifth place with 118 points.

The rookie sensation Pedro Acosta from Spain, riding for Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 (RC16), has been impressive and currently holds the sixth position in the championship with 101 points. Brad Binder from South Africa, riding for Red Bull KTM (RC16), is in seventh place with 99 points.

Fabio di Giannantonio from Italy, representing VR46 Ducati (GP23), has 92 points and is in eighth place. Aleix Espargaro from Spain, riding for Aprilia Racing (RS-GP24), is in ninth place with 82 points. Alex Marquez from Spain, riding for Gresini Ducati (GP23), rounds up the top ten with 62 points.
