In a recent preview clip for an upcoming documentary produced by Dirty Boxing, Mike Perry expressed his desire for a fight with Conor McGregor. The tension between the two fighters has been simmering for a while, with McGregor even going as far as to tweet that Perry was “fired” from BKFC after Perry’s loss to Jake Paul in a boxing match last July.
Perry, known for his brash personality and impressive punching power, has been making waves in BKFC with a string of impressive wins. However, he feels that McGregor has been stealing his spotlight and is frustrated by the lack of recognition he’s receiving.
The feud between Perry and McGregor is not the only drama in the BKFC world. Perry also took aim at BKFC 175-pound champion Dave Mundell for cozying up to McGregor on social media. Perry reminded Mundell of their past rivalry and his knockout win over him in 2016.
The first episode of the Down & Dirty documentary, where Perry’s comments are featured, is set to premiere on the Dirty Boxing YouTube channel this Friday at 2 p.m. ET. Fans can catch a glimpse of what’s to come in the trailer for the six-part series.
In other news, Jon Jones expressed interest in facing Alex Pereira next, rather than Tom Aspinall. Dana White, on the other hand, hinted that Jones could potentially face Aspinall in the future. Additionally, the UFC is exploring new broadcasting options, but pay-per-view seems here to stay.
Kamaru Usman is open to fighting Shavkat Rakhmonov, despite sharing a gym with him. Dricus du Plessis believes he could defeat Alex Pereira in a striking battle. Colby Covington is eyeing matchups with Jack Della Maddalena, Rakhmonov, and Paddy Pimblett. BKFC star Kai Stewart is eager to face off against fellow Montana native Sean O’Malley.
