Raymond Muratalla was feeling a bit overlooked after beating Tevin Farmer in July and not receiving a title shot. Instead, he faced Jesus Perez on Saturday night, and Perez ended up paying the price for Muratalla’s frustration.

The Ring’s No. 6-ranked lightweight, Muratalla, knocked down Perez twice and secured a victory by stopping him for the first time in his career. Now, with a record of 22-0 and 17 knockouts, Muratalla is setting his sights on the titlists, including IBF titlist Vasiliy Lomachenko, WBO titlist Denys Berinchyk, and WBC titlist Shakur Stevenson.

During the fight, Muratalla displayed his skills by striking Perez with precision shots and ultimately ending the match in the second round with a knockout. Referee Charlie Fitch made the decision to stop the fight at 1:24 of the second round, declaring Muratalla the winner.

In addition to Muratalla’s impressive performance, 23-year-old junior welterweight Bryce Mills also stood out on the Conceicao-Foster undercard. Mills showcased his talent by utilizing different levels and eventually securing a victory by fifth-round stoppage against Mike Ohan Jr.

The event also featured other notable fights, including a 10-round split-draw between junior lightweights Abraham Nova and Humberto Galindo. Middleweight Jahi Tucker claimed a victory by stopping Quilisto Madera in the eighth round, while heavyweight Ali Feliz achieved a second-round stoppage against Rashad Coulter.

Moreover, in a scheduled 10-round featherweight fight, Yan Santana emerged victorious by stopping Eduardo Baez in the fourth round. The night started with a bang as Polish heavyweight Damian Knyba stopped Richard Lartey in the third round of a scheduled eight-rounder.

Overall, the Conceicao-Foster undercard provided an exciting display of talent and skill, with fighters like Raymond Muratalla and Bryce Mills delivering standout performances. As Muratalla sets his sights on the champions, boxing fans can look forward to more thrilling matches and potential title shots in the future.
