AC Milan is showing interest in signing Chelsea star Armando Broja for the upcoming Euro 2024 despite their pursuit of Joshua Zirkzee. The Italian giants are planning to scout the striker when Albania faces Italy on Saturday.

Broja, who is currently on international duty, is expected to leave Chelsea in the summer after failing to impress last season. Although he returned from a long-term injury last September and scored on his first start back, he struggled to make an impact in the first half of the campaign.

Chelsea was willing to sell Broja in January for £50m, but no clubs met their asking price. Instead, he joined Fulham on loan to gain more playing time and increase his transfer value. However, the loan spell was unsuccessful as Broja only played 80 minutes for Fulham.

Despite this, there is still interest in the 22-year-old striker from clubs like Wolves, Everton, AC Milan, and Bologna. AC Milan, in particular, is keen on signing Broja this summer. They are reportedly sending scouts to watch him play for Albania against Italy in Euro 2024.

Chelsea is looking to sell Broja for £35m, but it was previously rumored that Everton was close to a £30m deal for the striker. However, financial difficulties at Everton may hinder the transfer. On the other hand, Chelsea is moving closer to securing a deal worth up to £40m for Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran.

As the transfer window heats up, it will be interesting to see where Broja ends up and how Chelsea’s striker situation unfolds in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
